Meet Chop Chop London, the pop-up blow dry shaking things up in the smoke this year. Here's the deal. It opens up this January (the 30th to be exact) in Old Street tube station, with more locations on the way.
It's catching the eye of everyone in the know right now because its focus is on diversity. If you've ever shied away from the current base of blow dry bars because you've thought 'glossy waves in this hair? Please!', 'no one but me knows how to handle these curls', or 'my hair takes like two seconds to dry and I'm not dropping nearly fifty squids for the privilege', then this little spot on the hair dressing map is going to be like a breath of fresh air.
Chop Chop London is comprised of a styling menu suitable for all hair types. It's got options for everyone, from those classic Hollywood waves, to twin corn rows and halo braids. There's a men's cut menu suitable for anyone from a city slicker to a Shoreditch hipster, and cutting options covering ladies' pix crops, afros and layered looks.
By the way, that's not even the best part. Every single option costs £20. No more, no less. The only other prices you'll find on there are £5 each for a head massage, a dose of dry shampoo or dry colour.
This venture is a total game changer and we mean that. Don't expect blow dry bar menus to look the same ever again once Chop Chop London makes their mark, exciting things are on the way ladies and gents, but for now, it's all starting with this newbie.
